The KIND festival launches its first ever wellbeing, connection and sustainability event in London. Kim de los Reyes and her team has brought in fantastic speakers including the one and only Shaman Durek (pictured). He fell in love with my pieces and called them "POWERFUL" and added "these need to be seen by the world, they need a bigger voice." YES, please!!! I am now designing a kimono robe exclusively for him with my iconic thunder pattern in royal blue.

{THE LATIN RUNWAY}

fashion pop store latin American designers Caro Gomez

WHEN: 6th of JUNE to 20th of JUNE 2019

WHERE: 341 King's Road, Chelsea, London

A project so dear to my heart! The Latin Runway is co-founded by Dayhana and myself bringing the most exciting Latin American designers to London. Why? We're passionate about giving Latin American designers a platform to showcase their talent, give them a voice and a space to shine on this side of the ocean. We’re a European store with Latin soul. And we’re in a constant sunshine state of mind. Both Venezuela and El Salvador have tumultuous histories but we believe there is so much talent and beauty in our region that by supporting our fellow Latinx here in Europe we're supporting our communities back home. We work with brands that have a social and/ or environmental impact as part of their ethos and of course, brands with lots of COLOUR & JOY. Including mine ;)

{PRESENTE ACESTRAL}

Feminist Fashion Caro Gomez showroom Monaco

WHEN: 18th of MAY 2019

WHERE: Le Meridien Monte Carlo, Monaco

Latin America takes on the Monte-Carlo Fashion Week catwalk with the Ancestral Presence parade. With the premise of "Latin America conquers Europe", this initiative is organised by Davily Partners and the Monagesca Association and seeks to make known 18 Latin American designers who are innovating in the world of fashion from a deep look at their past, their origins and their ancestors. And I have been lucky enough to be selected as one of these designers. YAY!

{SAMPLE}

WHEN: 2nd of MARCH 2019

WHERE: Greenwich Peninsula

WHAT: SAMPLE may be giving young and emerging design talent the chance to make their name, but this is no ‘queue up and pitch up’ marketplace. The programme has been artfully curated by HemingwayDesign and the cultural team at Greenwich Peninsula, both of which have a good antenna for knowing what’s a cut above the average.
